Creative cloud update stuck mac12/30/2023 ![]() When will Adobe ever decide to hire capable developers for the CC Desktop App team ? This tool is a failure from the very beginning. So, I used the previously downloaded package (from Adobe's site) and installed again. So, this time I clicked on Quit and tried the download link provided in the message. If I click on Repair, a new installation process begins, the existing CC Desktop is wiped out and I get again the same message when I relaunch CC Desktop. When I try to launch CC Desktop, I get the following message after a very long time : I then downloaded and reinstalled Adobe CC Desktop. So I tried the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool to uninstall CC Desktop. I tried a repair from the Windows Control Panel and I got this : If you receive a message about the installer wanting to access the Downloads folder, click OKThis morning, the CC Desktop launched by itself and entered the endless spinning wheel state.Run the "Creative_Cloud_install.dmg" file (may work differently depending which browser you're using, instructions made using Chrome).If the Creative Cloud software is not already installed, go to and click the "Download Creative Cloud" button.If you're only able to install free trials on nothing at all, please have a look at the troubleshooting section. ![]() From here you're able to install any Adobe apps that you're currently licensed to use. If you're logged in with the wrong account, sign out, open the software again and sign in with You should now see the All apps page.If it's or anything else, you're logged in with the wrong account IMPORTANT NOTE: If you click on the circle in the top right corner, you must be logged in with a account.If you receive a welcome screen, click OK.Wait for the Creative Cloud install to finish.Complete the Duo two faction authentication.Enter your CWL credentials on the CWL Authentication page.It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to put in on the Sign in screen (instead of your email address) and click Continue.Enter your Mac credentials (not cwl or novell) on the Creative Cloud Installer wants to make changes screen.Click Continue on the Account authentication screen. ![]() If you receive a message about the installer wanting to access the Downloads folder, click OK.If you receive a message warning that the installer was downloaded from the internet, check the "Don't warn me." checkbox and click Open. ![]()
